Bologna Modulare (BoMo) is an informal, distributed hub across Emilia-Romagna for electronic musicians exploring modular synthesizer systems. Born in early 2021, the collective is non-hierarchical and genre-agnostic: ambient, drone, industrial noise, techno, and experimental soundscapes coexist, unified by the instrument itself — the modular system as an activator of experiences rather than a stylistic boundary.

I am part of the collective, performing with my modular setup and taking part in its activities across the region.

Indigo

Indigo was a Paris-based DJ collective active between 2019 and 2020 — a trio I formed together with Himal and Ebene. We wove together Italo disco, deep techno, and Latin electronics, curating club nights focused on community care, inclusive dance floors, and unexpected sonic pairings.

We experimented with long-form back-to-back sets and surround-style DJ rigs that blurred the line between performer and audience, activating independent venues, social centers, and rooftop spaces across the city. When the pandemic arrived in 2020, we stopped our activities.

Concrete Bologna Elettroacustica is an electro-acoustic and acousmatic collective born in Bologna in 2010.

We want to promote and spread the listening of electronic and electroacoustic music, in its most diverse meanings and nuances, also through self-built and unconventional diffusion systems. We activate cultural paths that tend to restore sound to a fundamental and primary importance in the artistic experience as well as in everyday life.

During our activity, we have created several projects: HOLO Laptop Ensemble, ORFEO Collettivo Elettroacustico, Immersioni Sonore, Ephemeral. Each project is characterized by their own performative and experimental scope. The contamination and interaction between different media, such as music, audiovisual, plastic and figurative arts, are an integral part of the group’s poetics and activity.
